On the Anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn, August, 1776 - on the battlefield which is now part of Greenwood Cemetary there will be demonstrations of colonial military exercises presented by several reenacting units including the Huntington Militia.
In the afternoon there will be a ceremony to remember those who died in the battle at the Memorial Monument in the cemetary.
The Huntington Miliita will fire its cannon in the ceremonies.
